Customers needed very different workflows: large projects required detailed quotes, milestone approvals, and staged payments, while small tasks demanded quick booking and immediate payment. Handling both in one system risked confusion and inefficiency.
We designed two distinct but connected workflows — one for structured Projects and one for quick Small Tasks. This gave customers flexibility while keeping the platform unified, ensuring smooth experiences for both types of requests.
Many homeowners hesitated to book services online because of hidden costs, unexpected delays, and unclear pricing from providers. This lack of transparency discouraged adoption.
Bridgeo introduced transparent quoting with detailed breakdowns of cost, timeline, and milestones. Customers could compare multiple provider quotes, approve payments stage by stage, and track progress — reducing risks and increasing confidence.
Some tasks (like water leaks or electrical failures) needed immediate attention, but service providers often missed these urgent cases due to standard scheduling.
We added an Urgent Mode, where customers pay a fixed fee upfront for priority handling. The system automatically flags these jobs, ensuring they are assigned and completed faster than regular requests.
Disagreements between customers and providers over service quality, timelines, or payments could lead to frustration and platform mistrust.
Bridgeo implemented a structured dispute resolution system where admins can review evidence, documents, and communication logs. Premium providers are backed by insurance coverage, giving both sides confidence in fair outcomes.
Without proper monitoring, some providers delayed responses, skipped jobs, or delivered poor-quality work, hurting the platform’s reputation.
The platform enforced strict response deadlines (48 hours for projects, 24 hours for small tasks), applied penalties for non-compliance, and tied provider visibility to their ratings. This motivated providers to maintain service quality.
