DevOps Engineer

  • Do periodic performance reviews 
  • Automating incident response and reducing operational involvement.
  • Ensure high availability and scalability of the infrastructure.
  • Implement SRE frameworks to support global multi-cloud environments and ensure the highest level of SLA through operational excellence.
  • Provide failure analysis / root cause analysis when required
  • Champion a DevOps model so that services are automated and elastic across all platforms.
  • Ready to be responsible in 24×7 on-call situations and escalation workflows as needed, such as on occasional weekends.
  • Improve the technical competence of self and the team
  • Strong understanding of DevOps principles.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure, specifically AWS.
  • Knowledge of, and administration experience with Configuration Management tools such as Subversion Jenkins and Maven. (CI/CD pipelines & Automated jobs)
  • Good understanding with automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Nagios and Grafana
  • Understanding of security best practices and experience with security tools such as WAF and IDS/IPS.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
