For PMs and PCs, it was very hard to manage multiple projects and many users at the same time. Tasks were scattered across projects and sprints without a proper structure. Managers could not easily see who was working on what, and often missed important progress updates. This made planning and follow-ups slow and confusing.
We built a centralized project board where all projects, sprints, and tasks are visible in one place. Managers can see the overall progress, assign tasks, and check workloads, while team members get a clear view of their responsibilities. Role-based access ensures each user only sees what’s relevant to them, reducing clutter and confusion.
Attendance tracking had to cover many real-world conditions like late entries, early exits, half-days, night shifts crossing midnight, and sandwich leave rules. Handling all these manually often caused mistakes and mismatches. Overlapping requests, like leave combined with work hours, also created problems.
Automated attendance rules were added to handle these scenarios. Punch in/out data is validated against predefined conditions to avoid errors. The system also checks rules like sandwich leave, ensuring all conditions are applied consistently. This made attendance tracking more reliable and reduced disputes between employees and HR.
Managers needed reports for individual employees, but combining different data (attendance, biometric hours, logged working hours) was difficult and time-consuming. Without these insights, it was hard to measure performance or utilization correctly.
The ERP introduced employee-specific reports. Managers can now generate detailed reports for each employee, showing attendance records, logged hours, and overall performance. This helps in evaluations, identifying issues early, and ensuring accountability.
Different roles like Admin, HR, PM, and Employee needed different levels of access. Without proper controls, there was a risk of unauthorized changes, data misuse, or employees accessing information they shouldn’t.
Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) was implemented. Each role has specific permissions, so users only access what they need. For example, HR can manage attendance, PMs can manage tasks, and employees can only see their own records. This improved security, reduced errors, and gave users a smoother experience.
Creating a fair and data-driven evaluation process was complex because employee performance and skill levels varied across departments. Traditional reviews lacked measurable insights, leading to biased assessments.
Introduced a centralized HR evaluation module that tracks KPIs, attendance, and project performance. Added skill-based scoring metrics linked to each role, allowing managers to assess productivity objectively and identify training needs accurately.
